In her sculpture and installation-based works, Hannah Toticki often uses the powerful visual codes of fashion and theater, and she combine her thought-provoking yet humorous sculptures and installations with performance, lectures, text, video and music. Hannah Toticki uses her artistic production to offer us a critical view on society and habits, dealing with issues such as our never-ending online presence, our work/life balance, economy and our un-sustainable use of the nature around us. Toticki is confronting us with this constant online presence and the obvious effects - a lack of presence, time and empathy. And she asks, if we could just slow down and be honest about what is going on!
